Versucht zu Töten is the name of my new side-project. It means Tempted to Kill and I've been typing it also as VzT. VzT's site is now up and running. As of right now, there is one song on the singles page titled Get Me Started. It is available for free download.

The Gallery is now open. I'll be adding some new pics in December.

Beautifully Dead's site has been moved. The site is now connected with Lady Venom's site.

I'm in the process of working on a new side project - Versucht zu Töten (Tempted To Kill). I have three songs that I'll be uploading throughout the week for VzT and the web site will be opening soon as well.

There's a new layout for the site. Use the navigation in the left column for music - the first section is for the singles (used to be located in the music section which is no longer in existence) and the second section is for albums/cds.

Added a Forum. You can get to the Forum using the top navigation bar and clicking the "Forum" button. Link will open in a new window. As a guest, you can read through the forum but will not be able to post, for posting rights you will have to sign up.

Will be making other changes as the rest of the month goes along. I'm in the process of removing some of the older songs. Some have already been taken down. There is no longer a Free Music section. That section is now in the Online Music Store. I'll also be making more updates to the store as well.

I'm a little behind due to the writing side of my life. Versified Darkness, my second book of poetry, was released October 18, 2008. Now that the book has been published, I can work on getting some things done with this site. So bear with me as I get things reorganized.

Added a new song titled Mortal Shaft. It's a new song for The 13th Floor CD. I have one more song to upload for the CD and then it will be finished. I won't be releasing it until next year and I'm still contemplating the cover art. You can listen to Mortal Shaft on The 13th Floor album page.

I'm making some changes to the way a lot of the older songs/albums are being streamed on this site. I have a lot of new songs I'm going to be uploaded throughout the next few months and will need the space. I've decided to make the songs for the Malachi's Maze and Lady Venom CD 60 second previews. I've already made those changes to the Malachi's Maze album page. I'll be working on the Lady Venom page throughout the week. I shouldn't have to touch the other Albums for now but some of the songs that were composed in 2006 and early 2007 will be changed over to 60 second previews as well. All of the more recent music will remain full-song streams as will anything new I upload. I'll slowly be in the process of phasing out a lot of the older songs from the site beginning 2009.

I'm in the process of putting up a proper link so no one will get confused. The store is for Singles and Albums/CDs for both Lady Venom and Beautifully Dead.

Ringtones are now available for Lady Venom and Beautifully Dead songs. As of right now, there are ringtones for Danse Macabre, Hemorrhage, Rip Tide (which hasn't been released yet), and Tribalism. For Beautifully Dead, Heaven's Abyss and The Sweetest Thing. All ringtones are free, except for the charges handed down by your cell phone provider.

Received notice during the course of the early morning that 666 Miles (March On) has been nominated for a Golden Kayak on IAC Music. It's for the Industrial/Beat Rock category. I'm shocked but very excited about this. The final decision on the winners will be in on April 6, 2008.

Tribalism is set to be released April 3, 2008. It will be available, as a physical CD, through Lulu and Cafepress and as a digital download through Payloadz. I have one more song to upload next week for the Album/CD and then it will be complete.

Baile! is set to be released May 1, 2008. It will be available through the same stores as Tribalism and the other Albums/CDs that have previously been released. I have finished the cover art today for Baile! and moved the songs on the Album/CD to the new Baile! section on the site.

As for the Free Download .rar Pack that has been available since March 6, 2008...when I was going through the songs I found a few that I missed and forgot to put in the .rar pack so in the next few days I will make When Life And Death Collide, Volume 4 available for download as well.

The songs that have been available for free download from 2006 to 2007 are now available in an Album/CD. There are three CDs titled When Life And Death Collide, Vols 1-3. Each CD contains 10 songs in mp3 format and cover art in png format. The download is still free, this is just for those that wish to have all of them downloaded at one time instead of individually downloading them from the Music section. The download is an .rar file so you will need to unzip the downloaded file in order to get to the mp3s/cover art.

Welcome to the new site. A lot of things have changed with the music listing and so forth.

• Music Listing - All songs are now broken down by category. You can click on the Music link at the top of the page (side column on this page) to get to the music section.
• Downloads - There is now a Downloads section for buying Lady Venom songs. I have the songs set up through Payloadz so you'll have to have a Paypal account in order to purchase any music. This section is for Full-Length CD's as digital download (cover art is included) and Singles. I'll be working on a page for Snocap in the next few days.
• Free Downloads - There is no longer a Free Downloads listing on this site. All of the Free Downloads have been moved with the other songs to the genre they fall under. For instance, if you click on Malachi's Maze on the Music page, all the songs in the section are listed with the songs available for Free Download as well. Just click on the GREEN MP3 button next to the song and it will download. I may offer all the songs that are available for Free Download as a zip/rar file in the future.
• Quick Links - There is a Quick Links section on every page in the right column. In this section are links to other pages in the site (Discography, Reviews, etc.) and off-site links as well (Merchandise, Storefront).
• Gallery - The photos and CD Covers that were on the original site have moved to my Gallery. Since it's an off-site link, it opens in a new window. If you go to the Gallery there is a section for posting comments and a link on the bottom to return to this site. It's a work in progress, so I'll be adding more photos soon.
• News/Updates - I have this section, as you can see, set up as a blog. I think it will be a little easier this way. There is a navigation section in the side column. This section will still house all the updates about both Lady Venom and Beautifully Dead projects. When I post about any new songs I've added to the site, I will place a link next to the song that will take you to the genre section so you can listen to it and not have to hunt for it. There is also an Archives section (see side column) for past news from 2006 and 2007. I'm still working on transferring some of the posts to the 2007 section.

Starting Tuesday, I'll be working on revamping Beautifully Dead's site.

I'm working on making some major changes to the site. I'm currently working with a template and even though it's serving it's purpose, I'm used to doing my own coding. So, I've decided that I'm going to start doing that with this site. It'll probably be about another week before the changes start to take effect. I'm trying to make sure everything is ready before I make the initial change so none of my files will be lost in the transition. I'll keep you guys posted.
